By pairing state-of-the-art technology with our understanding of the movement and growth of the teeth and jaws, Dr. Patel can successfully treat many dental issues, like:

  • Gaps between teeth
  • Protruding teeth
  • Crowded teeth
  • Crossbite
  • Overbite
  • Underbite
  • Impacted teeth

Which Treatment Is Right for You?

During your first free consultation, Dr. Patel will assess your teeth, gums, and jaw to determine whether your orthodontic issues are minor, moderate, or severe.

After this initial exam, he will have a discussion with you about your goals and budget, and he will give you honest advice about which treatments will help correct your issues.

In general, metal braces are suggested for more severe orthodontic cases, while options like Invisalign are reserved for mild to moderate issues.

Fixed vs. Removable Appliances

At Bucks Mont Orthodontics, our patients should be educated when it comes to their treatment. It’s important to understand the difference between fixed and removable appliances.

Fixed appliances, like traditional and INBRACE lingual braces, are attached to your teeth and aren’t taken off until you complete your treatment.

Removable appliances, like Invisalign’s aligner system, are worn about 20-22 hours a day but can be taken off easily.

Besides the obvious, Dr. Patel uses Invisalign aligners to treat moderate orthodontic issues.

At Bucks Mont Orthodontics, we often use fixed appliances for serious orthodontic problems.
