Your Warrington Orthodontist
Dr. Chirag Patel grew up in Maple Glen, Pennsylvania less than five miles away from Bucks Mont Orthodontics.
He knew while attending high school in the Upper Dublin School District that dentistry was the profession for him because it would allow him to combine his love for science and art.
Dr. Patel comes from a long line of medical professionals and has always been inspired to improve people’s lives through healthcare.
When not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaley, and their young twin nephews. He is also an avid Philly sports fan and admirer of all things Disney.
Dr. Patel loves to cook, watch movies, and play board games. He can’t wait to meet you and put a smile on your face (literally)!
Traditional braces are one of the most efficient orthodontic tools we have. They're made out of metal or ceramic brackets that are attached to the teeth, then connected by wires and tiny rubber bands or elastics. These brackets, wires, and bands work together to apply the gentle pressure that will gradually move the teeth into the positions we want them to be in if you have regular adjustments with our doctors.
Warrington braces are an excellent choice for correcting complex tooth issues. Because they can sometimes work faster at aligning teeth and closing gaps than other treatments might, overall treatment time may be slightly reduced. Braces don't need some of the more complex technology or expensive equipment that newer treatments can, making Warrington braces a cost-effective orthodontic option.
Invisalign is incredibly popular with both patients and orthodontists and is the top alternative to traditional braces. Instead of brackets and bands, Warrington Invisalign system uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten your teeth.
Invisalign aligners are made of a comfortable plastic material and customized to fit snugly over your teeth. In order to keep your teeth moving in the direction you want them to, you'll generally need to switch your invisible trays out every 1-2 weeks for the next in the series. The Invisalign system can only work if the recommended guidelines are followed exactly! Aligners should be worn 20-22 hours per day throughout treatment. If patients neglect to wear the aligners as directed, it can impede the results and also add time to the orthodontic process.
Invisalign is at its most efficient when correcting many of the most common orthodontic issues. For some complex cases, Invisalign may not be a good option. A free consultation with Bucks Mont Orthodontics will allow us to determine your Invisalign eligibility.
